This tour package combines the iconic highlights of both the Hong Islands and the famous 4 Islands in a single trip. Our one-day speedboat tour promises an unforgettable journey across Krabi's most breathtaking destinations. Make sure to return to the speedboat, as our 9 Islands Speedboat Tour is incomplete without a visit to the legendary 4 Islands. We'll take a 30-minute speedboat ride from Hong Island to Chicken Island. We'll take some photos here and check out the cool rock formations, then we'll stop at the famous "Talay Waek". This white sandbar emerges during low tide and connects the neighbouring Tup and Mor Islands. Next is a short speedboat journey to the nearby Poda Island. If you're hungry, don't worry, we'll serve some light snacks here. Our last stop of the day is Tang Ming Island where you can snorkel around the coral reefs or relax and unwind on the beach. We'll meet you at your hotel/villa's reception between 07:30 - 08:00. Then we head towards Ao Nang. A more accurate pickup time from your stay in Krabi will be sent to you after we receive and review your booking details.
If you're staying in Ao Nang, you will be picked up between 08:00 - 08:30. Please be ready a few minutes ahead so we can make the pickup process as smooth as possible. From here we head to Nopparat Thara Pier.
At 9:00, we depart from Nopparat Thara Pier by speedboat. Put on a life vest and let's head to the Hong Islands! From here, it's a 15-20 minute speedboat ride to the first stop of the Hong Islands.
If we have customers staying in Railay, we make a quick stop to pick them up. A more precise meeting location and pickup time from Railay will be sent to you after we receive your booking details.
First, we visit Lao Lading Island. The cliffs and turquoise waters are a perfect photo backdrop that you won't want to miss.
Visit another picturesque island with quiet beaches and crystal-clear waters. Snorkel, go sightseeing, or relax on the beach here.
Next is Pakbia. Go snorkeling among the coral reefs or simply relax on the beach. This is also where we'll serve a tasty Thai-style lunch buffet. Vegetarian and halal options are available. Please make sure to specify your dietary needs in the customer's notes section.
After lunch, we take a short speedboat ride to Hong Lagoon.
Take in the stunning emerald-green waters of the lagoon here. Hong Lagoon is only accessible by boat.
We're off to the main Hong Island next. Go swimming or sunbathing here!
If you're up for the challenge, hike up to the peak of Hong Island to catch a mesmerizing bird's eye view from up above. There are around 400 steps one-way. Do note that the hike is not recommended for individuals with existing health problems.
After a thrilling climb up to the viewpoint, it's time to head to the second half of this exciting tour to the 4 Islands! This speedboat journey takes around 30 minutes.
First up is Chicken Island. Wondered how it got its name? Look no further. You can take some photos of the rock formations or go snorkeling in clear waters here.
Experience the separated sea or "Talay Waek" between Tup and Mor Island here. This white sandbar appears during low tide and you can take a peaceful stroll along the sand.
We make our way to the nearby Poda Island by speedboat. Enjoy some light snacks and refreshments here! You can swim or relax on the beach of Poda Island too.
Our final visit is Tang Ming. Go snorkeling here and enjoy the underwater life and coral reefs. You can also relax on the quiet beach to unwind.
At 17:00, it's time to board the speedboat for our return trip. From Tang Ming Island, it's about a 15-minute speedboat ride back to Nopparat Thara.
On arrival at the pier, our drivers will be waiting for you to bring you back to your hotel. The 9 Islands Tour by Speedboat ends here. You should arrive no later than 18:00 to your hotel.

Yes! We can pick you up from Railay. The exact meeting location and time will be sent to you after we receive your booking details. If you are staying at Centara Grand Resort, please take a hotel shuttle boat that arrives at Nopparat Thara Pier no later than 08:30. We can pick you up from there and drop you off at the end of the 9 Islands Tour by Speedboat. Please note that a reservation for this trip may be required.
The viewpoint is a long steep climb up 400 steps and is definitely not suitable for everyone. If you're young and in good health, it shouldn't be a problem. For young children and older or sick persons, the climb up will be too difficult.
If it’s raining, we’ll still go out on this tour. When the waves are too high for us to go out with the speedboat, we’ll cancel the tour and offer you an alternative date or refund the paid fees.
The best time to visit the 9 Islands is between November - February, when the seas are usually calm. You can expect mild temperatures and clear blue skies. This time is also high season, so it gets more crowded in Krabi, Ao Nang and on the 9 Islands.
Yes. Cancelling or moving your booking to another date is free up to 24 hours before the tour starts, and anything you have paid is refunded in full. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the start time are non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded. If we have to cancel, for example for weather or safety, you can move to another date or take a full refund.
