These terms apply to every tour booked on 4islandskrabi.com. Please read them before booking. By completing a booking you accept them for everyone in your party.
Tours on this website are sold by Koh Tour Co., Ltd., a Thai company licensed by the Tourism Authority of Thailand and trading as Kohtour.
Each trip is run by a licensed local boat operator. We are the seller and your contact for everything about the booking.
A booking exists once you receive a confirmation email with an order number. If nothing arrives within a few minutes, check your spam folder and then contact us; without a confirmation no place is held.
Please check the details you give us: the tour date, the number and ages of guests, your hotel or pickup point, and a phone number that works in Thailand. We cannot be responsible for a missed pickup or departure caused by wrong details.
When booking, tell us about anything that affects taking part, such as pregnancy, limited mobility, a medical condition, an allergy or a guest who cannot swim.
Prices are in Thai baht. Shared tours are priced per person by age group and private boats per boat by group size, as the tour page states. The total shown at the last step of checkout is the amount you pay, and every fee is listed before you confirm.
Checkout shows the payment options available for your tour and party. Depending on the tour these can include paying on the day, paying a deposit now, or paying in full now. Any card processing fee is shown on the option it applies to, as a separate line in the price breakdown and in the total before you confirm. Online payments are taken by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or PromptPay.
Each tour page lists what the price includes and excludes. Please read it before booking.
The islands are inside a Thai national park, and the park charges its own entrance fee per person. On most tours this fee is not in the tour price and is paid in cash on the day; the tour page and checkout show the amount under fees paid on the day, with separate adult and child rates. Where a tour includes the fee, its page says so.
Park fees are set by the authorities and can change without notice. If the fee changes between booking and your trip, the fee in force on the day applies.
You can cancel free of charge until 24 hours before the start time of your tour, and we refund everything you have paid.
Cancellations less than 24 hours before the start time, and not being at the pickup point at the agreed time, are not refundable, because the operator has already committed the seat and its costs.
To change your date, contact us as early as possible; we will move the booking where space allows. A date change asked for less than 24 hours before the start time counts as a cancellation.
Refunds go back to the original payment method. Your bank may take a further five to ten working days to show the money.
Sea conditions decide whether a boat can sail safely, and safety always comes before the schedule.
We may cancel or reschedule a trip because of weather or sea conditions, a national park closure, an instruction from the port or marine authorities, too few passengers, or a mechanical fault. You then choose between a full refund and a free move to another date.
Parts of the park, such as Maya Bay on the Phi Phi route, can be closed by the authorities for part of the year or at short notice. A closure is handled in the same way where it stops the trip; where only one stop is affected, the operator replaces or skips it.
The order of stops, snorkelling sites and time at each island can change on the day because of the tide, the weather or park instructions. The captain and guide decide, and a changed itinerary alone is not grounds for a refund.
We are not liable for separate costs you incur because a tour is cancelled or changed, such as flights, accommodation or onward transfers. Travel insurance covers these.
Where your tour includes hotel pickup, your confirmation gives the pickup window. Please be ready and visible in the hotel lobby from the start of that window. Pickups run in sequence, so the driver can arrive at any point within it.
Railay has no road access. Railay guests are met at the meeting point stated in their confirmation, usually the Railay East floating pier.
Drivers and boats cannot wait indefinitely without making other guests late. If you are not at the pickup point, we try to reach you on the number you gave us; a guest we cannot reach is treated as a no-show.
Follow the instructions of the captain, crew and guide at all times, including safety briefings and wearing a life vest when told to.
The crew may refuse boarding, or end someone's participation, if they are under the influence of alcohol or drugs, behave in a way that endangers or seriously disturbs others, or are not medically fit to take part. No refund is due in those cases.
National park rules apply throughout: do not touch or stand on coral, do not feed or disturb wildlife, leave shells, sand, coral and plants where they are, and take all litter back with you.
These trips involve getting on and off boats at sea, wading ashore and, often, swimming and snorkelling. Please judge your own fitness honestly and tell us in advance about any condition that could be affected.
Boat travel is generally not recommended during pregnancy, and speedboats in particular can be unsuitable for guests with back, heart or mobility problems. If you are unsure, ask us before booking rather than on the day.
Children remain the responsibility of their parent or guardian for the whole trip, in and around the water included.
We strongly recommend travel insurance that covers medical treatment, water activities, cancellation and personal belongings.
We work only with licensed operators. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited under Thai law.
Subject to that, we are not liable for loss, injury or damage resulting from your failure to follow the crew's instructions or park rules, from inaccurate information about your health or fitness, or from events outside our reasonable control, including weather, sea conditions, park closures and decisions of the authorities.
Valuables are brought at your own risk. Boats are open and wet, and we cannot accept responsibility for items lost, soaked or damaged on board.
Where we are liable, our liability is limited to the price you paid for the tour.
Carry the documents you need, including a passport or photo identification where the park or operator asks for it. We cannot refund a guest refused entry for lack of documents.
If something goes wrong, tell the guide or crew during the trip so they can put it right on the spot. If it is not resolved, email info@4islandskrabi.com within 30 days of your tour with your order number and what happened. We acknowledge complaints within three working days.
How we handle your personal information is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
These terms are governed by Thai law, and the courts of Thailand have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in force.
